Now that we´ve photographed them, we can go and admire the three towers from close-by. The first tower is built in the thirteenth century Gothic style with blue stone. #visitgent

A unique elements is that the tower is´n above the entrance, but above the crossing of the nave and transepts. It´s a sort of natural lantern as the light shines into the transept from the tower.
